With our innovative "Lift&Slide" hardware system Roto Patio Life for timber and PVC profiles, it is possible to move large and heavy balcony doors up to 400 kg sash weight across a total frame width of up to 6.5 m with extreme ease. What's clever about this is that instead of the complete sash, only the horizontal seals are raised - with great simplicity via the handle.
With this refined technology, we meet all the requirements of the European standard DIN EN 13126-16 for Lift&Slide hardware and are way ahead of the competition in terms of ease of use. We are also catering to the trend towards increasingly high rooms - including in the building of private homes - while also complying with the latest energy-saving and thermal insulation regulations with respect to heavy windows with the corresponding glazing.
The space-saving opening of balcony doors with Lift&Slide sashes instead of Turn-Only sashes permits optimum use of space, as no sashes project into the room. Thanks to the generous window dimensions, plenty of light can enter the room which, together with the refined design, gives discerning customers a feeling of well-being.
